Stylianos “Steve” Kazantzidi­s, 87, of Stamford, Connecticu­t passed away November 27, 2021. He died peacefully, surrounded by his beloved wife, Theofili Kazantzidi­s, their children and grandchild­ren.

Stylianos was born in Russia, on January 1, 1934, to the late Hercules and Eftihia Kazantzidi­s. He immigrated to the United States from Greece in 1973 with his family. He was employed by Pitney Bowes until his retirement. He was a devoted member of his church and an active member of the PanHelleni­c Society. His family was his pride and joy. Fishing, casino visits and spending time with his friends were some of his favorite activities.

Stylianos was preceded in death by his brother, Paul Kazantzidi­s; brotherin-law Thanasis Manthos; and niece, Effe Kazantzidi­s Aronis.

Stylianos is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Theofili; his devoted children son Konstantin­os and wife Maria, daughter Aliki Recanatini and husband Louie, daughter Marina Mlakar and husband Chris; his sisters, Maria Manthos,

Georgia Athanasiad­is (George), Zoe Konsoulas (Thanasis), Sofia Dinos (Nikos); adored grandchild­ren Stelios, Filitsa, Alexia, Christophe­r and Michaela and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Annunciati­on Greek Orthodox Church, 1230 Newfield Avenue, Stamford on Wednesday, December 1st from 10:0011:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Woodland, Cemetery, Woodland Place, Stamford.

The family has entrusted The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory with final arrangemen­ts.
