The Bible Word for safe sex: Marriage
We are in sad times when our educational system will not let us pray or read the Word of God in or on school premises.
I heard a song the other day called, “We want America Back,” and the words to this song spoke for many, many Americans.
It referenced that God cannot go into schools anymore, but that school leaders can talk about safe sex among the students and then pass out condoms to these students without their parents’ consent.
Everyone should be aware that the Bible has a word for safe sex: It’s called marriage.
The sanctity of marriage is downplayed in our modern day society, and we have people living together and practicing family traditions without being married. The world is telling them it is okay, and for many years Christians have sat back and watched as the Word of God and prayer has been taken out of public institutions and claimed that a new day has arrived. It is keeping with the modern day movement where God is out and the world is in.
What many people do not understand it that God’s Word never changes, and it never will. The Ten Commandments are still intact and everyone should adhere to them.
Exodus 20:14 reads, “You shall not commit adultery.”
This wasn’t written just for the Israelites. It is a commandment that is written for all of us and if we are living together and practicing safe sex without the bond of marriage, then we are committing adultery and sinning before our Lord and Savior.
Our world is becoming a nation of illegitimate children because of this, and many children are aborted before they can speak for themselves.
Today, we need to turn back to God and listen to Him through His Word. Then and only then, will we make this a better place to live.
Prayer: Father, thank you for another day of life. Lead me and guide me to be a good example to those around me and should I or anyone have immoral thoughts concerning me help me to rise above them and remember your commandments. Amen.
