The Around Town calendar is a free service offered by the Starkville Daily News. The calendars runs daily as space allows. Announceme­nts should be submitted via e-mail to life@ starkville­dailynews.com by 2 p.m. the day prior to publicatio­n and be no more than 50 words in length. Religious events will be listed Saturdays on the Faith page. Recurring events will run on Sundays only. One-time events will run Monday through Friday.

◆ Board of Commission­ers Meeting — East Oktibbeha Wastewater District Board of Commission­ers will meet on May 9 at 3 p.m., at the Offices of Golden Triangle Planning and Developmen­t District, 106 Miley Road
