Carlos B. White

Carlos B. White, 64, passed away on May 4, 2017 at Baptist Hospital in Columbus, MS. He was a graduate of Starkville High School and attended Mississippi State University.

As a member of the Mississippi Home Builder’s Association, Carlos built many homes in Starkville and the surrounding area. He was owner of Carlos White Ventures and an insurance agent for ARMtech crop insurance. Carlos learned to cook while in the Mississippi Army National Guard, and he continued his love for cooking even outside of the military. As a young man he was a cowboy and a farmer and always kept that close to his heart.

He was preceded in death by his parents, L. H. White and Eutelle Steadman White.

He is survived by his wife, Debby Vernon White of Starkville, MS; sons, Brock White and wife D’Ana of Madison, MS, and Dylan White of Starkville, MS; and his grandchildren, River and Rainey White. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will surely be missed.

Visitation is scheduled for today from 1:00-2:30 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville, MS, and a graveside service will immediately follow in Memorial Garden Park Cemetery in Starkville.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.
