Geary Morris Edmonds

Mr. Geary Morris Edmonds, 65, passed away on Friday, June 9, 2017, at his residence in Starkville, Mississippi. Graveside services and interment will be 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 13, 2017, at Bevill Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Don Hooper officiating. Visitation will be the day of the service from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Nowell Massey Funeral Home in Louisville, Mississippi.

Geary was born June 25, 1951, to Odie and Vitula Nason Edmonds. He attended Starkville Church of God; and was a retired carpenter and a licensed auctioneer.

Geary is survived by his son, Donald Wayne Edmonds; two sisters, Patsy Collier of Starkville; and Betsy Mascagni of Greenville, Mississippi; his sister-in-law, Melba Smith, and husband, Billy, also of Starkville; and two granddaughters. He is preceded in death by his wife, Sue Bradford Edmonds; his son, Geary M. Edmonds, Jr.; and his parents.

Serving as pallbearers are Johnny Bradford, Billy Smith and Danny Smith. Memorial contributions in honor of Geary may be given to Bevill Hill Cemetery Fund, c/o Norma Jackson, 245 Raymond Williams Road, Sturgis, MS 39769.
