Bro. Carl Nickels, 82, retired Minister and Glenda Faye Carroll Gammill Nickels, homemaker, died 6/11/17 at their residence in Webster County, Ms. Funeral Services will be held 11:00AM Friday 6/16/17 at Maben First Baptist Church in Maben, Ms. with burial in Maben Memorial Garden Cemetery and Clarkson Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00PM until 8:00PM Thursday 6/15/17 at Oliver Funeral Home. Bro. Carl and Glenda Faye will lie in state in the Maben First Baptist Church 10:00AM until 11:00AM Friday 6/16/17. Bro. Carl was preceded in death by his first wife; Polly Sue Crowley Nickels, parents; Raymond Otto Nickels and Ola Mae Skidmore Nickels, brother; Billy Ward Nickels, and two sisters; Katie Wynell Nickels Kyle and Mary Agnes Nickels. He is survived by a son; Vic (Donna) Nickels, Maben, Ms. and a brother; Charles Edwin (Sarah) Nickels, Starkville, Ms. Glenda Faye was preceded in death by her first husband; Orben Lee Gammill and parents; John Edwin Carroll and Ouida May Crowley Carroll. She is survived by a daughter; Deborah (Danny) Coleman, Bruce, Ms. and a son; Gary L. (Teresa) Gammill, Starkville, Ms., and a brother; Sammy L. “Buddy” Carroll, Columbus, Ms. They are both survived by five grandchild­ren; Samantha (Josh) Harris, Steven Sibley, Jr., Megan Gammill, Drew (Anna Marie) Nickels, and Hayden (Anna) Nickels and three great grandchild­ren; Ava Cole Nickels, Mary Hayden Nickels, and Corey Harris.
