Wood — Hayes

Mr. and Mrs. Raleigh Wood, III of Grenada announce the engagement of their daughter, Lindsay Jewell Wood to Samuel Logan Hayes, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gaylan Hayes of Batesville, Arkansas.

Maternal grandparents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Doug Ragland of Birmingham, Alabama. Paternal grandparents of the bride are Mrs. Opal Wood and the late Mr. Raleigh Wood, Jr., of Starkville.

Maternal grandparents of the groom are Mrs. Mary Carol Smith and the late Mr. Billy Smith of Fayetteville, Arkansas. Paternal Grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Pete Igou, of Batesville, Arkansas.

Miss Wood graduated from Grenada High School in 2012 and Mississippi State University with a Bachelor in Accountancy in 2016. She is also a 2017 graduate with a Master in Professional Accountancy.

Mr. Hayes is a 2007 graduate of Warren Central High School in Vicksburg. He graduated from Mississippi State University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Information Technological Services. He is a 2013 graduate of Mississippi State University with a Master of Science in Instructional Technology. He is currently employed by Cal-Maine Foods, Inc., in Jackson, as Application and IT Support Manager.

A wedding is planned for July 22, 2017, at six o’clock in the evening at Southside Church of Christ in Grenada, with reception to follow at First and Green.
