The Around Town calendar is a free service offered by the Starkville Daily News. The calendars runs daily as space allows. Announceme­nts should be submitted via e-mail to life@starkville­dailynews.com by 2 p.m. the day prior to publicatio­n and be no more than 50 words in length. Religious events will be listed Saturdays on the Faith page. Recurring events will run on Sundays only. One-time events will run Monday through Friday.

◆ Tai Chi Classes — The Wellness Connection at OCH Regional Medical Center will offer an eight-week Tai Chi course on Tuesdays beginning July 11 from 5:15 – 6:45 p.m. The class will be led by Dr. Armando de la Cruz.
