Bulldogs take over SEC Network

-

The SEC Network will provide its 24-hour coverage of Mississippi State Bulldog athletics featuring historic moments, inspiring wins and mind-changing documentaries on Wednesday, July 25.

It's the third year in a row the Network is previewing all 14 Southeastern Conference schools during a two-week stretch.

This year's MSU content was determined by social media responses from fans, with additional input from coaches and staff. A sampling of the segments included are the women's basketball memorable upset against UConn in the Final Four this past April to end the Huskies' 111-game winning streak, the 2016 Egg Bowl victory and the men's 2002 SEC Tournament basketball title.

There is also a special hour-long Relentless episode, Hallelujah, showcasing never-before-seen footage that starts with the 2016 loss to UConn and ending with this year's magical run to the title game in Dallas. Locker room scenes, video shot by fans with their cell phones at the game and at watch parties are just the start to what will surely whet your appetite.

Programming will open with the Thunder & Lightning 30 For 30 piece at 11 p.m. on July 24 and conclude at 10 p.m. the following day with One Night In March, a documentary on the racial barriers the 1963 men's basketball team had to overcome to participate in the NCAA Tournament.
