Weather cancels area sports
Due to the inclement weather, which at times turned severe on Thursday, many sporting events were postponed or canceled.
All after school activities for Starkville Academy were canceled, including the junior high football game against Heritage Academy. The game will be rescheduled.
The volleyball matches for Starkville High School and Choctaw County were also canceled.
Also the swim meet for SHS at Brandon was canceled.
