Eupora goes on the road to blank West Tallahatchie

WEBB – The Eupora Eagles scored 13 points in the first half and went on to shut out West Tallahatchie 33-0 on the road Friday night.
Eupora started the scoring with 7:12 remaining in the first quarter when Edwin Herard had a 5-yard touchdown run.
In the second quarter, Eagle quarterback Tanner Knight tossed a 3-yard scoring pass to Jalan Potts with 52 seconds left before halftime.
Ash Dumas had a big play in the third quarter for Eupora's third touchdown of the night as he broke loose on a 45-yard run for points. Knight completed a two-point conversion pass to Zack Cooper to make up for an earlier missed extra-point kick and the Eagles had a 21-0 lead at the 4-minute mark.
Eupora increased its margin to 27-0 with 1:41 left in the third quarter on a 2-yard run by Prestn Perkins.
The Eagles finished off the victory with 1:40 in the fourth quarter on a 5-yard touchdown run by Donovan Turner.
Eupora improved its overall record to 3-1 ahead of next week's rivalry game at Choctaw County.
French Camp 28, Vardaman 25
VARDAMAN – The homestanding Rams gained an early 13-7 advantage, but could not hold it as the French Camp Panthers rallied for the victory.
French Camp was able to take a 21-19 lead at halftime and stretch the margin to 28-19 in the third quarter before Vardaman closed the final gap to three points.
