OAKLAND, Calif. — Former Mississipp­i State player Kendall Graveman out-pitched Houston Astros ace Dallas Keuchel and the Oakland Athletics got an impressive 10-2 on Sunday.

Graveman (5-4) pitched five-hit ball over six innings and allowed one run for Oakland.

Keuchel walked in two runs and hit a batter to force in another during a shaky sixth inning and the A's completed a four-game sweep of Houston.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Jason Vargas (15-10) stopped his fourgame losing streak and set a career high for wins, giving up one run and four hits in five innings.
