Heritage Academy has district title on its mind

Heritage Academy has already beaten Leake Academy and Winston Academy in District 2-AAA.

If the Patriots can defeat the Starkville Academy Volunteers at home on Friday, coach Sean Harrison said it can only mean one thing.

“Going into this week, we’re competing for a district championship and that’s obviously what it’s all about,” Harrison said.

Starkville Academy is still in the thick of the district race also, but it needs to beat Heritage and Leake Academy to accomplish that feat. 7 p.m., WLZA-FM 96.1
