Junior Strahinja Rakic joined Borges and Oradini in the singles rankings, coming in at a career-best No. 54. Rakic won the singles crown at Southern Regionals and holds an impressive 8-4 ledger this fall.

Like Oradini, junior Bulldog Niclas Braun also earned the first singles ranking of his career, entering the list at the No. 118 spot with a 5-4 record this fall.

In doubles, State had two pairs ranked in the top 50, as the young duo of Florian Broska and Oradini entered the rankings at 41st nationally - the duo's first national ranking. MSU's tandem of Braun and Trevor Foshey were tabbed 49th in the nation.

The ITA's 2018 preseason team rankings will be announced Jan. 3. State, which finished 18th nationally this past spring, opens its challenging spring schedule Jan. 14 at home against UAB.
