MSU women begin luncheons

Fans can enjoy lunch and basketball talk with the No. 3 Mississipp­i State women's basketball team as a new season of Hail State Hoops luncheons begins Tuesday, Dec. 12.

This season's series opens with the popular Christmas luncheon, and it will be held a day before the Bulldogs host No. 9 Oregon in a 6 p.m. tip at Humphrey Coliseum.

The luncheon series will be held in Mize Pavilion beginning at 11:30 a.m. Doors open at 11:15 a.m.

Cost is $12 per lunch or $60 for the luncheon bundle. The luncheon bundle includes admission to all six luncheons and entry into the drawings to win a door prize.

Each lunch features a full meal and hoops talk with head coach Vic Schaefer, his staff and members of the thirdranke­d Bulldog team that has started the season 8-0.
