◆ Friends of the Library book sale — The Starkville Public Library's Friends of the Library monthly book sale will be Jan. 8 from noon - 6 p.m. The fiction and nonfiction books in both hardcover and paperback, children's books, vintage books, and reference are all available at nominal prices, with most books priced at 50 cents to $3.
