Harold T. Tommy Carlisle

Harold T. (Tommy) Carlisle, Jr., 67, our beloved son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather passed away on January 9, 2018. Tommy was born on September 13, 1950 to Dot and Harold T. Carlisle. Tommy Graduated from Starkville High School, attended Wood Jr. College and then attended Mississippi State University. He was retired from the Starkville School system as the maintenance and transportation director, with 36 years of service. He also retired with 20 years of service with the Mississippi National Guard.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harold T. Carlisle, Sr. of Starkville.

He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Carlisle Simonds; wife, Rebecca Davis Carlisle; sons, Chris Carlisle (Katrina) and Todd Carlisle; grandchildren, Andrew, Jenna and Eva Carlisle; and brother, Danny Carlisle (Debra), all of Starkville, MS.

Visitation is scheduled for Friday, January 12, 2018 from 10:30-12:00 at Meadowview Baptist Church in Starkville, MS, with the funeral service immediately following. Burial will be in Marvin Hill Cemetery in Cumberland, MS.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Meadowview Baptist Church, 300 Linden Circle, Starkville, MS, or Marvin Hill Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 338, Maben, MS, 39750.
