North AAA event set for SA

The Starkville Academy Volunteers know their schedule for the North AAA Tournament next week at North Delta Academy in Batesville.

Starkville Academy’s girls, who finished second in District 2, will play Bayou Academy Wednesday at 4 p.m. The Lady Vols are 19-13 after losing a 43-34 decision to Leake Academy in the district championship game on Saturday.

In the North AAA boys bracket, Starkville Academy will play Indianola Academy at 5:15 p.m. Wednesday. The Vols have a record of 17-8 after losing twice at last week’s district tournament.
