West Memorial is in charge of the arrangemen­ts. Mott and partner, Stephen Harry, of Salem, New Hampshire. One of her greatest joys was being “Granny” to her five grandchild­ren: Hailey Nason, Zach Nason, Brandon LaBine, Michael LaBine, and Canon Mott. She also leaves behind to mourn her passing two sisters, Katherine Coats and Regenia Quinley and husband, Richard, all of Mobile, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glyn Mott; her son, Douglas Allen Mott; her loving parents, Odell and Ottie Farrow; her sister, Doris Leachman; and her brother, Bryant Lee Smith.

The family wishes to thank the staff and residents of Brooklyn Hall for making our mother a member of their family. Memorials may be given to Brooklyn Hall Personal Care Home Activities Fund, 23283 MS-15, Mathiston, MS 39752.

Services are under the direction of Nowell Massey Funeral Home, 724 North Columbus Avenue, Louisville, MS. Robert graduated from West Point High School and followed up in Memphis to receive his certificat­ion as a radiology technician. He was employed by the Imaging Center of Columbus before retiring January of this year. Robert spent 40 years of his life providing

patient care and was often requested by patients to perform their MRI scans. He was very detail oriented, calm, and compassion­ate with patients of all ages. He married his wife Carol on June 4, 1993. He loved his family and grandchild­ren deeply.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law Gid Foster. He is survived by his wife Carol, son Robert Winter Jr. (Kristi) of Grenada, daughter Michelle Owen (Brian) of Maben, son Ryan Winter of Charleston, SC, son Kody Winter of Steens, (significan­t other: Fu Jin Chesser), two sisters: Valinda Foster of Pheba & Gail Thompson (Doug) of West Point, & 9 grandchild­ren (Chase, Dalton, Mya, Bella, Kolton, Lilly, Anna Grace, Nikki, & Brooklyn)

Pallbearer­s: Wayne Foster, Craig Foster, Scott Foster, Curt Luke, Hal Thompson, & Patrick Thompson

Honorary Pallbearer­s: Dr. Williams and employees and staff of Imaging Center of Columbus.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to donor’s choice of charity in his honor.
