AROUND TOWN ANNOUNCEMENT POLICIES
The Around Town calendar is a free service offered by the Starkville Daily News. The calendars runs daily as space allows. Announcements should be submitted via e-mail to life@ starkvilledailynews.com by 2 p.m. the day prior to publication and be no more than 50 words in length. Religious events will be listed Saturdays on the Faith page. Recurring events will run in Around Town on Sundays only. One-time events will run as usual in Around Town Monday through Friday.

◆Ebenezer Baptist Church Garage Sale — Ebenezer Baptist Church will be having a garage sale on June 23, 2018 from 7a.m. until 1 p.m. The address to the church is 10085 Oktoc Rd.

◆ Casserole Kitchen — Church Anniversary— The Episcopal Church of the Lindsey Chapel U.M. Church Resurrection hosts a casserole will be having its church anniversary kitchen every Saturday at Parish on June 17 at 3 p.m. hall at 11:30 a.m. Guest Speaker will be Rev.
◆ On the Grill at Parker-McGill Kenneth Casey of Anderson — Parker-McGill Grove M.B. Church. Everyone Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is welcome. will host a weekly “On the ◆Ebenezer Baptist Grill” every Saturday. Free Church Youth Fundraiser— Ebenezer Baptist Church Youth Department will host a fundraiser on June 24 at 1 p.m. Dinner plates will be sold for $7.00 each. The menu will be dressing, ham, greens, macaroni-n-cheese, roll/cornbread and a drink. Please come out to support.
◆Second Baptist Church Ordination Service— Second Baptist Church invite family and friends to share in the ordination service for Minister Willie Harvey (Chief) Johnson on June 24 at 3 p.m.

◆ SHS Class of 1978 Reunion — The SHS class of 1978 is planning their 40th class re-union. Initial plans entail a reception at The Courtyard Marriott, 7:30 p.m. on Friday, June 29th, 2018. Saturday activities are still being planned. ◆ Prayer Center International—The group will meet every first and third Sundays of the month from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
◆ Walking Trail— Adaton United Methodist Church has established a quarter-mile walking/jogging trail near the church, located at 303 Reed Road., West-Starkville. The path is accessible daily from dawn to dusk. No pets or wheeled vehicles allowed on the trail
◆ Prayers with the Songs of Taize—Prayers with the Songs of Taizé is held at the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection the first Sunday of each month at 6 p.m. The service includes candlelight, singing, prayers, readings, periods of silence, and lasts about 45 minutes
◆ Starkville Healing Rooms—Starkville Healing Rooms meets from 6:308:30 p.m. on Mondays at the Sportsplex.
