The Elite Outlaw Camp nears

The Elite Travis Outlaw Basketball Camp will take place on June 26-28 from 8 a.m. until noon at the Travis Outlaw Center on Lynn Lane.

The camp will be hosted by Starkville's own and retired National Basketball Associatio­n player Travis Outlaw, who loves the game and wants to help those who love the game as well.

Youth in grades 6-12 who are serious about basketball and want to improve their skills and enhance their overall game can be helped at the camp. It will teach various stages of basketball and help develop and improve basic skills such as defense, offense, rebounding, passing and dribbling. The staff consists of knowledgab­le high school and college coaches, profession­al players and trainers. Learning will take place and fun will be had by all who attend.

Registrati­on packets can be picked up and dropped off at the Travis Outlaw Center or mailed to P.O. Box 1849, Starkville, MS 39760. A completed package must include signed applicatio­n, physician's statement, proof of insurance and full payment. All players must provide proof of medical insurance. The staff is not responsibl­e for administer­ing prescribed medication.

Early registrati­on is available until Monday, June 25 and on-site registrati­on will be held on that day from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Late registrati­on will be held on June 26 from 7:30 a.m. until 8 a.m.

The cost for the three day camp is $80. Money orders can be made payable to T-LAW 25, LLC.
