Library benefactor to hold lecture in Jackson
Mississippi State University benefactor and former Rhode Island Supreme Court Chief Justice Frank J. Williams will present a lecture at the Old Capitol Museum in Jackson on Feb. 26, titled “Ulysses S. Grant, Reconstruction, and Civil Rights.”
Presented by the Mississippi Department of Ar- chives and History, the free event is in association with MSU’S Ulysses S. Grant Presidential Library, MSU said in a media release.
