Starkville Civic League Announces Tour of Homes
The Starkville Civic League will host its annual Christmas Tour of Homes on Sunday, Dec. 8, 1-5 p.m. Beginning Oct. 22, tickets can be purchased from Civic League members and at the Greater Starkville Development Partnership for $25 each. Tickets may also be bought at the Starkville Public Library on the afternoon of the tour.
On the ticket is a map showing the locations of the four houses on this year's tour. Homeowners for the tour are include Alan and Amy Page of Dodson Farm located at on Mount Olive Road, Davis and Mary Ann Richards on Adelaide Boulevard, Joel and Toni Clements in Belmont Park and Tom and Brooke Lammert on Worley Street.
Members of Civic League, along with friends of the homeowners, will be hostesses in the homes on tour.
People who purchase tickets are invited to a reception at the Starkville Public Library from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on the day of the tour. Civic League members will provide refreshments for the reception and serve as hostesses.
Proceeds from Civic League's fund-raising event provide money for its annual $1,500 Starkville Civic League Camp-gaston Scholarship, which is given to a deserving high school senior and for different community groups.
