MSU’S Phi Kappa Phi chapter inducts students

Students are being inducted this semester into Mississipp­i State’s chapter of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic discipline­s.

Membership is by invitation only to the top 10 percent of seniors and graduate students and 7.5 percent of juniors. Faculty, profession­al staff and alumni who have achieved scholarly distinctio­n also qualify. The honor organizati­on draws members from all discipline­s within colleges and universiti­es. MSU’S chapter is being honored this year by the national organizati­on at the highest level of PKP recognitio­n with a “platinum designatio­n” Circle of Excellence Award.
