2021 Columbus Spring Pilgrimage canceled
COLUMBUS - The Preservation Society of Columbus announced this week that the 2021 Columbus Spring Pilgrimage will be cancelled due to COVID-19 related concerns. The event will return in 2022.
“We are deeply disappointed to be unable to welcome visitors into our beautiful city this year, but we know in our hearts that it’s the right call to make for everyone’s safety,” said Dick Leike, President of the Preservation Society. “We are using this time to look forward and gear up for a wonderful event in 2022 and greatly anticipate the day we can once again welcome you into our homes and historic sites, to share our architectural and cultural history.”
In past years, the Columbus Pilgrimage Event has been listed as one of the south’s Top 10 Events. Drawing visitors from around the country to the city of Columbus to celebrate the historic architecture and the rich history of the city. Historic homeowners come together to welcome visitors into their homes for this charming and intimate look behind the doors of these stately homes – bringing living history to all who walk along the azalea lined paths of this exquisite southern city.
