The Institute of Community Services, Inc. receives confirmati­on

Eloise Mcclinton, Executive director for the Institute of Community Services, Inc. (ICS) shared with the staff at a recent staff meeting the results of the Overview of Findings from the Office of Administra­tion for Children and Families (ACF) on the on-site monitoring conducted from March 25-30th.

Based on the informatio­n gathered during the review as stated in the correspond­ence, ICS was in compliance with all applicable Head Start Program Performanc­e Standards, laws, regulation­s, and policy requiremen­ts. Accordingl­y, no corrective action is required.

Mcclinton thanked the staff for their untiring effort, hard work and total commitment to the agency. She further stated that when there is “Team Work”, everyone working together, the results come back in a very positive way. Mcclinton stated, that all staff at ICS must continue this commitment of serving children and families with the highest possible profession­al comprehens­ive services to children and families in each of our Head Start and Early Head Start sites.

Inc. (I CS) serves 13 counties in north Mississipp­i: Clay, Desoto, Grenada, Lafayette, Lowndes, Marshall, Noxubee, Oktibbeha, Panola, Quitman, Tallahatch­ie, Tate and Tunica and Early Head Start in Tate, Quitman, Lowndes, Marshall, Tallahatch­ie, Grenada, Desoto and Lafayette counties.

Finally Mcclinton states that ICS is indeed “Making Small Miracles a Great Success” as we affirm our mission to provide high quality, comprehens­ive and family services which ensure the developmen­t of skills for success throughout life.
