2015-PLUS COLORADO/CANYON 4X4 5.5-INCH LIFT

-

In 2015, BDS Suspension debuted its 5.5-inch suspension lift kit for the new Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon, becoming among the first on the market with a lift kit for these midsized trucks. When power programmer and speedometer calibrator maker Hypertech bought a new ’16 Colorado Crew Cab Z71 as a promotional vehicle, the crew wanted to add off-road capability and rugged good looks. They chose BDS components for the job, and both the truck and the suspension kit were shipped to Portland, Oregon’s Carolina Kustoms for a complete build-up.

Designed around BDS’ tested steering knuckle and crossmember technology, the kit provides enough lift to fit 33-inch tires, while maintaining the OE suspension geometry needed for smooth handling and ride characteristics. Along with the rugged, lifted design that maximizes ground clearance, this new system has passed the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 126, and has been independently certified that it will not affect the vehicle’s factory-installed electronic stability control system once the lift is installed.

Wherever and however you use your truck, BDS’ “No Fine Print Warranty” and five-year, 60,000-mile drivetrain warranty will give you peace of mind. All BDS Suspension lift kits are also comprised of quality 4x4 off-road truck and Jeep suspension products that carry a unique “No BS Hardcore Lifetime

Warranty,” which means if you’re the original purchaser of a BDS lift kit and it breaks, the company will give you a new part—no questions asked.
