WELL, HERE’S TO 2020! The new year has arrived, and it promises to be one of the wildest years for the culture of our industry, along with many other mainstream fields of interest in the U.S. This year brings a handful of super intriguing stories, such as our continued push toward a digital truck-space dominance, the fast-rising emergence of electric vehicles hitting the road and, of course, a U.S. presidential election that is sure to make headlines. This new year is determined to “bring it,” so we hope you’re ready to keep up with the curves.
The content team here at Street Trucks is made up of die-hard truck guys who live, eat and breathe the custom scene. We know what’s happening, we have insiders at very corner, and we work right alongside of the trendsetters who truly deserve your admiration. Our spouses understand the addiction and have just learned to accept us for who we are—even when it means waking up at 5:00 a.m. to get the best parking spot at the local car and truck show. It’s a lifestyle we love, and you can’t change us if you tried.
Passion and hard work are the keys to our success, and it’s contributors like Solomon
Lunger, Jon Hansen, Mike Self, John Mata, Joe Greeves, Mike Alexander, Tucker Harris, Brian Goude, Grant Cox, Victor Lopez and my amazing wife Nicole Hamilton who instinctively possess these traits. The corporate side of our brand works just as hard to keep this finely tuned engine performing strong, and our art team is unquestionably second to none. We’re lucky to have a team this powerful!
Let’s all get excited for this new year and make some real goals for 2021. Get back to that project truck in your garage that you’ve been avoiding for years or jump headfirst into fixing up an old rusty Chevy like you have always wanted to. Don’t worry about how much work it’s going to take—just get started!
