ACOMMENT I CONTINUE TO HEAR IN THE MINI-TRUCK SCENE IS, “THICKER THAN A STICKER.” Although I’m not sure who coined this phrase, I believe it represents the current state of the scene. Truck clubs are important for the culture and lifestyle; supporting each other, however, is paramount! When I attend truck shows across the country, I see more camaraderie among different clubs than I can remember in the past. Whether you realize it or not, others may look up to you as a member of a club, the scene in general or as a “brother.”
Our actions at shows and how we go about representing the scene can have lasting impacts on others. This is especially true for the young kinfolk coming up! Next time you’re at a show or a local picnic, make it a goal to meet someone new. That person might just need a mentor or someone to look up to as they get their footing in this scene of ours.
Until the next issue of Street Trucks, checkout Our Lifestyle Podcast, which is a truck-inspired show. Stay On
