On the mound RHP Mat Latos (0-3, 6.86) vs. RHP Stephen Strasburg (2-2, 4.60): Latos tweaked a hamstring running out a single and limped off the field in the fifth inning of Wednesday’s 7-3 win over the Mets. But he threw well enough in a bullpen session Saturday to avoid missing his turn. Still seeking his first Marlins win, this is the second time Latos has gone as many as five starts without a win to open a season; he lost his first five in 2011 with the Padres. Strasburg gave up four runs and eight hits in six innings of an 8-0 shellacking by the Marlins on April 25 at Marlins Park. He had tossed 17 consecutive scoreless innings against them before Miami broke through with two runs in the fourth.
