Disney moves earnings release
Disney has moved its earnings release to before the market opens Tuesday to allow executives to attend the funeral of board member Sheryl Sandberg’s husband, David Goldberg.
Goldberg died Friday night at age 47, according to a statement. He was the CEO of SurveyMonkey, the online survey questionnaire provider. A Mexican official said he died of severe head trauma in a gym accident. Sandberg joined the Disney board of directors in 2010.
The Walt Disney Co. will report its secondquarter results at 8 a.m. Eastern time Tuesday, followed by a conference call 90 minutes later. It usually reports earnings after the market closes.
