Free Chicken McNuggets

McDonald’s is simplifyin­g its food and offering healthier options.

The global fast-food giant already uses 100 percent beef and milk from cows not treated with growth hormones. It also removed high-fructose corn syrup from buns, and has committed to using only cage-free eggs by 2025.

In August, it removed preservati­ves fromits white-meat chicken nuggets, which contain no antibiotic­s, artificial colors or flavors. The brand wants you to try the improved Chicken McNuggets with offers posted on the free McDonald’s mobile app.

Here’s the schedule: Free 4-piece and 6-piece McNuggets on Sunday and Tuesday, with no purchase necessary; free 10-piece with purchase of a large drink Saturday; and buyone-get-one free 20-piece Sept. 20. The app offers free medium french fries on Fridays, a free breakfast sandwich with purchase and a free large drink with any purchase. New offers are added Mondays.
