Free Chicken McNuggets
McDonald’s is simplifying its food and offering healthier options.
The global fast-food giant already uses 100 percent beef and milk from cows not treated with growth hormones. It also removed high-fructose corn syrup from buns, and has committed to using only cage-free eggs by 2025.
In August, it removed preservatives fromits white-meat chicken nuggets, which contain no antibiotics, artificial colors or flavors. The brand wants you to try the improved Chicken McNuggets with offers posted on the free McDonald’s mobile app.
Here’s the schedule: Free 4-piece and 6-piece McNuggets on Sunday and Tuesday, with no purchase necessary; free 10-piece with purchase of a large drink Saturday; and buyone-get-one free 20-piece Sept. 20. The app offers free medium french fries on Fridays, a free breakfast sandwich with purchase and a free large drink with any purchase. New offers are added Mondays.
