I ama lifelong Democrat, but have respect and admiration for Sen. John McCain. Was anyone listening to his recent admonition about dictators? He reminded us that a would-be dictator’s first step is to control the media. If you thinkMcCain is just an alarmist, get out your history books. America. Select media outlets have been selected to not be invited to a press briefing. Fake news is only that which criticizes or disagrees with the president. Even FOX News has come to the defense ofCNN.

Unless all Republican congressmen agree with the president on every issue— with the exception of John McCain — they are too intimidated to publicly comment. And now many states are looking at ways to limit or eliminate demonstrations.
