Sunday’s game: The Marlins lost to the Cardinals, 7-4, at Roger Dean Stadium. Dan Straily (two hits, one strikeout) and Junichi Tazawa (one walk, two strikeouts) each pitched a scoreless inning in their first game action as Marlins. Both of Tazawa’s strikeouts came on splitters. Adam Conley labored during his frame, allowing four runs on five hits. He also recovered from a comebacker off the bat of Breyvic Valera to get an out at first.
