Broadcast: Radio – 940-AM Sunday’s game: The Marlins got no offensive production in a 3-0 loss to the Cardinals. But they got solid work from three key relievers, each tossing a scoreless inning without allowing a hit. The bullpen is expected to be a strength of the team, and Junichi Tazawa, David Phelps and Kyle Barraclough are three important components. Tazawa has not allowed a run in six innings over six appearances this spring. “You want them to have success but you want them to be healthy and feel like they’re ready to go for the season,” Marlins manager Don Mattingly said. “I think we’re there, now it’s just a last little bit of maintenance as we get close to the season.” The Marlins mustered no runs against Mike Leake in six innings despite getting the leadoff man on in three innings. Their best chance to score was in the fourth when they had two hits, including a double off the center-field wall by Giancarlo Stanton, and a walk. But Dee Gordon got picked off first and Derek Dietrich struck out with two runners in scoring position to end the inning. Upcoming games
