Celine Dion sells Jupiter Island mansion for less than half of original listing.

After nearly four years on the market, superstar singer Celine Dion has sold her Jupiter Island mansion for close to its $38.5 million asking price, according to a Canadian news report.

The Montreal Gazette reported the sale Tuesday, citing Dion’s referring agent, Joseph Montanaro, of Sotheby’s International Realty Québec. He told the newspaper that the sale was finalized lastweek.

The Grammy Award winner originally listed the home at $72.5 million in 2013, before lowering the price by more than 50 percent.

Although Montana row as not authorized to identify the buyer, he said the individual is an American who wanted the property as a vacation home.

In January, Montanaro told the Sun Sentinel that Dion wanted to sell because of contractual obligations that required her to devote most of her time with her show at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

Dion was not regularly using the Jupiter Island estate, Montanaro said at the time.

The sprawling 5.7-acre estate, located at 215 S. Beach Road, has enough to keep the new owners busy. Features include a water park with two swimming pools that interconnect, two water slides, a bridge over a lazy river, a tree house and eight water cannons. There’s also an infinity pool overlooking the ocean.

The main house, which spans 10,000 square feet, contains two children’s bedrooms with their own bathrooms. The master bedroom boasts a wraparound terrace that comes with a view of the ocean and two separate decks — one with an outdoor fireplace and the other with a hot tub.

Visitors can choose from a pair of four-bedroom guesthouses. The property also touts a tennis house that contains a gym, golf simulator and tennis court, a pool house with built-in grill and kitchen; and a beach house with a second-floor sleeping loft and massage room.

The home was sold privately. Cristina Condon, of Sotheby’s International Realty, had the listing, along with colleagues Todd Peter and Frances Peter.
