The mansion, located at 241 Ocean Drive, was originally built in 1972. Wynette owned it from1976 to 1981.
She died in 1998 inNashville a month before her 56th birthday. Three days after her death, fans and the music industry saluted her in aworldwide televised memorial service from Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium. Shewas quickly elected to the CountryMusicHall of Fame.
The estate recently underwent $500,000 in renovations, which included expanding the driveway, painting and landscaping the home, resurfacing the pool area and creating a grand entranceway to the home.
