In Friday’s edition, two questionswere posed: “What portion of health care dollars should go to vulnerable Americans, and what portion should go towealthy Americans?

My question is what does one have to do with the other? The answer is Trump promised a tax cut to thewealthy and has noway to pay for it. He needs to steal $800 million fromMedicaid to fulfill that promise. This iswhy his so-called health reform was crafted in secret and has little to do with health care and everything to do with tax cuts for the very rich.

Here’s a radical idea, howabout publicly debating a health care bill that deals with health and a separate bill that deals with tax policy.

• Giving your eyes a break fromreading government foodwarning labels.

• Giving your body a holiday fromsaturated fat, cholesterol, and hormones.

• Not sweating the animal cruelty and environmental devastation guilt trips.
