It appears that our governor has not yet decided whether to turn over the Florida voter registration roles to the federal government. I am hoping that our governor will follow the lead of half of the other states in refusing to do so.

I believe there are two reasons that our president has empowered a commission to collect that data. Oneis that he is a sorewinner. He is so obsessed with having lost the popular vote that he is grabbing at straws to prove a mute point. Why can’t he just accept that hewon?

I also believe he is further attempting to disenfranchise as many voters as possible in “blue” states. Having access to a single voter registration database would help him in that effort. The states have done a fine job maintaining the integrity of the roles. Leave it alone. SunSentinel.com/ opinion/letters

facts and sources, making certain to have all checked and double checked before rushing to be first to print. Yesterday’s journalists were not hampered by personal opinions, but more interested in putting out facts so that the public could form their own opinions.

We are all entitled to have our own opinions, but we are not all entitled to call ourselves reporters or journalists unless we work for a newspaper or magazine, and then ethics would have us leave off our opinions and report only facts that werewell-founded. Would thatwe could return to that era of truth. The Russian involvement really did happen and it’s all President Obama’s fault that nothing was done. Let’s charge him (Obama) with collusion and obstruction of justice because he didn’t do anything to stop it.

What I don’t understand is that once Donald Trump became president-elect, he was briefed in detail by the intelligence agencies as to what’s going on in the world, including theRussian involvement in our presidential election. Whether Trump could digest this information is another story. So, my question is, what has Trump done to further punish Putin for his transgressions? President Trump likely has known since November what Russia did, yet he up until days ago claims itwas fake news?
