St. Louis tackles offseason weight control challenge
CORAL GABLES — Miami Hurricanes tackle Tyree St. Louis would love to say it has beensomestrict diet and workout routine that has kept his weight in check during the offseason.
Then again, he’d rather keep it honest.
St. Louis has dropped 10 pounds since last year and lowered his body fat to 16 percent.
“I don’t really know how I do it,” St. Louis said. “I don’tdo extra cardiowork. I just do the stuff that we do here.”
St. Louis said he expects to enter preseason camp at 310. The lowered weight should allow him more leeway should he gain weight during the season. If he were to pinpoint one reason for the improvement, it would be getting more acclimated to the program.
