Broward County commission­ers reached an agreement with Worldwide Sports Management for the arrangemen­t and promotion of internatio­nal cricket events at Central Broward Regional Park and Stadium in Lauderhill, according to a county news release. The stadium— theUnited States’ only Internatio­nal Cricket Council-certified stadium — is to host internatio­nal events yearly. It can house about 15,000 spectators. Thefacilit­y“was built specifical­ly to meet ICC standards, adn this agreement will allow the stadium to fully meet its promise of bringing internatio­nal events to Broward County on a regular basis,” Worldwide Sports Management president Kris Persaud said in a statement. the Broward Housing Finance and Community Redevelopm­ent Division for the purpose of strengthen­ing homes in the BrowardMun­icipal Services District againsthur­ricanesand­storms.
