“I call this Jerusalem,” says Miami’sDJ Khaled as he gives a tour of his lush Beverly Hills garden. “This is so peaceful. I drinkmy tea. I come out here, me andmy son, and we meditate and catch a vibe.”

Khaled’s estate is featured in aNew York Times article and video this week. The hip-hop producer, whose full name is KhaledMoha­med Khaled, takes viewers and readers inside his home. He also has an estate in Miami.

He tells the paper how he grew up with Palestinia­n parents in Florida and enjoyed being outdoors playing soccer, basketball and fishing. When his father closed the family’s men’s formalwear store, Khaled found away to help support them through his deejay gigs.

The article details his love of flowers, which include hydrangeas and poppies, and howhe tends to his gardens at both homes. “The key is, respect your mother, respect MotherNatu­re,” he says in the Times video.

The socialmedi­a star, who has 6.7 million followers on Instagram, has been in the spotlight of late. He recently released a new album, “Grateful,” which debuted atNo. 1on the Billboard 200 chart, and performed some of his new songs at Impact ’17 at theUnivers­ity of Miami.

At the 2017 BET Awards last month, Khaled’s young son, Asahd, stole the red carpet when he arrived with his parents dressed in a Gucci-designed, light-blue tuxedo with black accents.
