MIAMI— Brickell Flatiron, a 64-floor luxury condominium under construction in Downtown Miami’s Brickell Financial District, has just released illustrations for a limited collection of multilevel penthouse residences.
The collection, with layouts measuring up to 6,500 square feet, is comprised of three different types of penthouses. Single-story penthouses, on floors 50 to 61, range from$1 million to $2.5 million. A set of two-story upper duplex penthouses and a set of three-story upper triplex penthouses, on floors 62 to 64, are priced between $6 million and $15.5 million. The three-story layout will feature private terraces with rooftop pools, summer kitchens and a private elevator.
The total number of penthouses has not yet been released.
About 60 percent of Brickell Flatiron’s 549 units have already been sold and are under hard contract, according to a press release. Whether that percentage contains any of the penthouses has not yet been disclosed.
CMCReal Estate is handling the sales for the tower.
“Brickell Flatiron’s penthouse collection will embody the elegance and sophistication of Italian design,” said developerUgo Colombo, founder ofCMCGroup. “We are sparing no detail and no expense to deliver a memorable product offering our residents the highest caliber of quality and design that will withstand the test of time.”
Residents can take advantage of the numerous amenities the tower has to offer.
Club levels (17th and18th floors) feature a theater, billiard and cigar room, temperaturecontrolled wine vault, outdoor lap pool and a children’s pool and playroom.
At The Sky Club, 64 floors up on the tower’s rooftop level, residents will find a spa, fitness center, pool and rooftop garden.
The tower’s location, 1001S. Miami Ave., puts it in the center of numerous restaurants and high-end retail shops.
Miami architect Luis Revuelta designed the tower’s distinct flatiron shape with flowing, curved lines.
“The inspirationwas to try to get the building tomove and look like the windwas stroking the facade,” Revuelta said in a promotional video for the project. “The balconies on every floor have an intertwining, curvilinear effect thatwe believe is going to create a very interesting character and identity for the building.”
On the interior, Italian design architect Massimo Iosa Ghini used inspiration fromthe curved facade to outline the building’s amenity spaces and to create a seamless transition from exterior to interior.
This isn’t the first project Colombo and Revuelta haveworked on together. The duo have teamed up on a number of Miami skyscrapers, including SantaMaria, Bristol Tower, Porto Vita, GrovenorHouse and Epic Residences andHotel.
The Brickell Flatiron has a scheduled completion date of 2019.
