- Audrey Frieman, PembrokePines Howard Olarsch, Boynton Beach

Michael Surbaugh, chief scout executive for the Boy Scouts of America, does not need to apologize to his Scouts or us. The president of the United States should apologize not only to the Scouts but also to the entireworld for his misspoken words, his crassness, and his inexcusable abuse of the highest office in this country.

He has drained the swamp of D.C., and now we are left with the residual slime. The old Post Office inWashington is nowowned by his family and people, lobbyists, and others arepaying apremiumto kiss the emperor’s ring.

Unlike Pakistan, our Supreme Court could never act to protect us theway theirs did.
