Three observations on views in the news State residents right to question Rubio Where’s outrage over Democrats’ rhetoric?

- Bernice Bildner, Sunrise Ivan Bial, Weston Chuck Lehmann, Delray Beach

1) Regarding lowering the speed limit — It doesn’t matter what the speed limit is. It seems police are never around in any city enforcing speed limits. Many hit-and-run incidents are due to drivers knowing speed limits but ignoring them because they’re not enforced. They feel empowered to go as fast as they desire with no consequences.

2) Why does the media keep trying to analyze everything that Donald Trump says and does? There are no sane explanations because he is mentally deficient. This country is going to be in horrible condition by the time he’s out of office. When will his supporters start to see him for what he is and stop being blinded by his empty promises?

3) If Mitch McConnell and his gang didn’t hate Barack Obama more than they loved America and its people, shortcomings of the Affordable Care Act could have been solved by now. Does anyone believe: Mexico will pay for President Trump’s wall. Coal is making a comeback? There are more jobs in coal than renewable energy? Harming the environment is a good for business or our country? The oceans are not rising? Because your grandfather and father worked in coal mines gives you the right to expect the same job? Trump’s inaugural was the largest ever? Trump’s not hiding information in his income tax? Trump can persuade China to put pressure on North Korea? Donald Trump Jr. didn’t hide information about his meeting in Trump Tower? Every citizen should not have to the same health care as Congress?

If you don’t believe all I’ve listed, ask yourself why does Florida Sen. Marco Rubio believe, or is he just a hypocrite putting Trump, corporate donors and the GOP in front of what’s honest and good for his constituents and our country?

I don’t condone the campaign rhetoric and tactics of Judge Dana Santino, but where is the Sun Sentinel’s outrage over the campaign tactics of the Democrats who routinely call their opponents racists, bigots, homophobes, sexists, Nazis, a “basket of deplorables” and other vile epithets. Isn’t that equally outrageous, or should we overlook it because they are the “virtuous” Democrats?
