Solar eclipse education takes center stage this weekend as the Monday event approaches. And back-to-school programs, including today’s Back-to-School Bash at Coral Square Mall, continue as Broward and Miami-Dade students prepare to return to class.

Get your kids excited about the solar eclipse with a number of library events.

In Palm Beach County, George Haddad, a NASA aerospace engineer, will discuss the history of solar eclipses and safety precaution­s for Monday’s viewing. That event is 2 p.m. today at the Jupiter Branch. RSVP to 561-744-2301.
