Season record: 1-2 Prediction: Dolphins 20, Titans 17
Comment: The Dolphins can’t keep up this disappearing act on offense, can they? If playing a backup quarterback and a team that just gave up 57 points in your home opener isn’t a recipe for success, what is?

Season record: 1-2 Prediction: Dolphins 20, Titans 17
Comment: The road-weary Dolphins are finally playing their home opener. Maybe that can help jump-start an offense that has scored just two touchdowns in three games. The Dolphins rank last in the NFL in points per game (8.3), yards per game (249) and third-down conversions (7 of 33). If Marcus Mariota can’t play, Matt Cassel will start for the Titans.

Season record: 2-1 Prediction: Dolphins 20, Titans 17
Comment: Bold prediction — The Dolphins are going to score this week. And in this unpredictable NFL season, I think they get a win. Having watched the London game, it’s hard to provide tangible reasons for that, but Tennessee wasn’t so hot last week either.

Season record: 2-1 Prediction: Dolphins 24, Titans 20
Comment: Tennessee is allowing 31.5 points and 386.8 yards a game. Of course, the Dolphins have major red flags on both sides of the ball, a last-play garbage TD vs. the Jets the only thing keeping Miami from two consecutive shutouts, and the defense on pace for historically low sacks and takeaways.

Season record: 2-1 Prediction: Dolphins 24, Titans 23
Comment: The Dolphins’ offense issues are fixable if the offensive line can do a respectable job. Being at home should benefit Miami, which likely will face the Titans without quarterback Marcus Mariota. As long as Miami’s defensive front can contain Tennessee’s run game, the Dolphins should pull out a victory.

Season record: 1-2 Prediction: Dolphins 13, Titans 10
Comment: The Dolphins won’t be able to solve all of their offensive issues in a few days of practice, but their defense has played well. Just a little more from that anemic offense should be enough.
