Boca’s Prezzo to hire 80 workers
Italian restaurant concept being revived by Burt Rapoport and Dennis Max, is hiring more than 80 workers for the restaurant’s November opening.
A Boca Raton fixture in the 1990s, Prezzo is being modernized for a new generation by the prolific restaurateurs Rapoport and Max, whose local restaurants include Prezzo, an Henry’s, Max’s.
Rapoport and Max introduced a wood-burning pizza oven to South Florida when they opened the first Prezzo in Boca Raton in 1989.
The new restaurant is located at 5560 N. Military Trail, Suite 300, in the Park Place plaza, which is located between Clint Moore and Yamato roads in Boca Raton.
James Beard award-winning Deck 84, and Burt & chef Mark Militello has been named executive chef. The management team includes alumni from the old Prezzo as well as other affiliated restaurants, said Rapoport, president of Rapoport’s Restaurant Group.
Available jobs include host staff, servers, food runners, bartenders, sous chefs, line cooks and prep cooks. Those interested should visit the restaurant between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday through Thursday to apply, or email a resume to resumes@rapoportsrg.com.
