The following is a sampling of records obtained from the Broward County Sheriff’s Office and local police department­s serving Fort Lauderdale, Oakland Park, Wilton Manors, Deerfield Beach, Pompano Beach and Lighthouse Point.

Fort Lauderdale

700 block of West Sunrise Boulevard, Oct. 2, 7:09 a.m. Someone stole batteries from two vehicles overnight in a parking lot.

1600 block of South Andrews Avenue, Oct. 4, 11 a.m. A man’s clothes and wallet were stolen while he was in the hospital.

300 block of Southwest 11th Avenue, Oct. 14, 11:36 p.m. Burglars broke into a home.

Oakland Park

3800 block of North Federal Highway, Oct. 22, 7:45 p.m. Inside a locker room at a gym, someone stole a car keys and used them to steal a wallet from the car.

4300 block of Northwest 31st Avenue, Oct. 23, 12:05 a.m. Burglars were caught on video cutting the locks on a trailer and taking a business’s property.

1100 block of East Commercial Boulevard, Oct. 23, 6:56 p.m. While a man was eating dinner at a restaurant, someone stole tools from his truck.

Wilton Manors

3000 block of Northeast First Terrace, Oct. 15, 1:03 a.m. The man said he picked up a fare in West Palm Beach and transporte­d him to Wilton Manors where they entered a residence and did not come out. The loss was $170.

2100 block of North Andrew’s Avenue, Oct. 17, 4:15 p.m. The manager of a store said a man broke the gas pump hose while driving away from the gas station. The damage is estimated at $250.

100 block of West Oakland Park Boulevard, Oct. 17, 5:18 p.m. A store employee had a woman in custody for a retail theft. The hair merchandis­e was recovered outside and the woman was trespassed from the store. The items were valued at $22.68.

Deerfield Beach

200 block of Southeast First Terrace, Oct. 17, 7:30 p.m. A woman reported her boyfriend forced her to remain in a storage unit, slapping her face, punching her legs and choking her with a belt.

400 block of Lock Road, Oct. 18, 7:30 a.m. Someone stole a 2015 Infiniti Q50 Sport Fl/Tag GNZ-L89.

500 block of Northwest 38th, Oct. 17, 5:04 a.m. Someone entered a truck and took $200 from the center console.

Pompano Beach

4400 block of North Federal Highway, Oct. 17, noon. A resident is suspected of damaging a light with a pool cue, then, 13 days later, driving a truck through closed entrance gates.

300 block of North Dixie Highway, Oct. 17, 4:08 p.m. Someone left without paying for $26.23 worth of gasoline.

2600 block of Northwest Ninth Court, Oct. 18, between midnight and 10:25 a.m. A man advised he was slapped by a student.

Lighthouse Point

2450 block of North Federal Highway, Oct. 22, 5:58 a.m. A man arrived for work and parked his 2014 Nissan Sentra in the south parking lot. He left the vehicle unlocked and a witness observed a man inside the vehicle and thought it was a co-worker in the vehicle. When the witness approached, the man fled the vehicle. Nothing appeared to be taken.

4800 block of North Federal Highway, Oct. 25, 12:06 a.m. A fast food restaurant employee said there were customers who were being verbally abusive and told they would not be served. After driving around to the drive-thru a couple of times and engaging the employee in an argument, someone threw a water bottle at the employee striking her in the cheek.

1810 block of Northeast 25th Street, Oct. 28, 6:10 p.m. Someone was trespassed from the coin laundry after causing a disturbanc­e.
