FIRST GAME

No. 19 Florida State vs. Oklahoma State: The Seminoles (9-0), one of seven remaining undefeated teams, are one of the biggest surprises in college basketball after starting the season unranked and expected to be a bottom dweller in the ACC. Junior guard Terrance Mann, their only returning starter from last year, is averaging 15.6 points and 5.6 rebounds a game. Backcourt mate Braian Angola, a senior, averages 12.7 and 4.6, respectively. … The Cowboys are 7-2, the only losses coming against No. 3 Wichita State and No. 9 Texas A&M. Top scorers are Jeffrey Carroll (12.7 ppg, 5.7 rpg) and Tavarius Shine (11.0 ppg).

SECOND GAME

No. 22 Florida vs. Clemson: The Gators (6-3) fell precipitously from No. 5 after back-to-back losses to Florida State and a shocker against Loyola-Chicago. They had a solid bounce-back win over No. 17 Cincinnati. The game brings some local interest with Egor Koulechov (16.1 ppg, 6.9 rpg), who played two seasons at Sagemont in Weston and has played for the Israeli national team. Sophomore forward Keith Stone of Deerfield Beach, who played at Zion Lutheran Christian School Developmenta, has started eight games and is averaging 5.9 ppg. … The Tigers (8-1), off to their best start since 2008-09, are led by senior forward Donte Grantham (15.5 ppg, 6.5 rpg).
